Come join us alongside Rotary Club Belen and other wonderful clubs in Costa Rica for this truly life-changing experience!

Together, we will:

• Restore independence by delivering life-changing mobility to individuals and families in need.

• Engage with humanity through visits to inspiring local humanitarian sites and impactful community projects.

• Roll up our sleeves alongside dedicated local Rotarians for meaningful, hands-on service.

• Immerse ourselves in the vibrant culture, rich history, and breathtaking landscapes of Costa Rica.

• Build lasting bonds of fellowship and international friendship with our welcoming Costa Rican Rotary hosts.

Price: $1,499 Per Person, Double Occupancy (For Single Room, Add $480)

Includes daily breakfasts, hotel Wi-Fi, scheduled ground transportation, and hosted events throughout the stay.

Mon., Sept. 13 – Atlanta to San José, Costa Rica

 

Pack your bags, because we're flying out from Atlanta and heading straight to sunny Costa Rica! After a smooth afternoon arrival at San José, you'll be warmly greeted and whisked away to the lovely Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Cariari. To kick off an unforgettable week of international friendship and service, we'll all gather this evening for a wonderful welcome dinner with our fantastic Costa Rican Rotary hosts. ¡Pura Vida!

Tue., Sept. 14 –Partners in Friendship and Service

 

Get ready to make a real impact this morning! We’ll team up with local Rotarians in small groups to tackle hands-on projects together, like painting a school or planting trees. After a well-deserved lunch break, we'll cap off the day by gathering with all the local Rotary clubs for a wonderful evening of fellowship and lifelong friendships.

Wed., Sept. 15 – Cultural Heritage & Welcome Fellowship

 

Today is all about soaking in the rich local culture! Depending on the season, we'll dive right into the heart of Costa Rican tradition—whether that means cheering on the festive Juan Santamaría parade, experiencing a moving Easter Week procession, or exploring the historic ruins of the country's very first church alongside our wonderful local Rotarians. To top off such an amazing day, we'll gather tonight for another fun Rotary mixer to toast to our growing friendships!​

Thu., Sept. 16 – Wheelchair Distribution

 

Today brings the emotional highlight of our trip: teaming up with our local Rotary partners for a truly life-changing wheelchair distribution. Witnessing firsthand how the gift of mobility brings back independence, dignity, and hope is something that will stay with you forever. Afterward, we'll unwind over a delicious lunch at a traditional local restaurant, and your evening is completely free to relax or explore on your own!

 

Fri., Sept. 17 – Cloud Forests of Poás Volcano & Coffee Heritage

 

Your final full day in the volcanic highlands of Poás Volcano starts with a scenic drive to La Paz Waterfall Gardens to explore walking trails, cascading waterfalls, and the butterfly observatory. Afterward, we'll visit the historic Doka Coffee Estate for lunch, a guided tour, and a private coffee tasting. We'll wrap up the week this evening with a special Farewell Dinner celebrating our service projects and new friendships. ¡Pura Vida!

Sat., Sept. 18 – Depart for Home

Enjoy an early morning transfer to San José International Airport for your return flight to Atlanta, carrying home incredible memories, meaningful bonds, and the satisfaction of a journey defined by service and heart.

This itinerary has been developed by Rotary Club Belen, working with their local connections and travel exmanagement expertise. Our bank is Bank of America, branch Town Center Mall in Kennesaw. 

Deposit Policy: $250 per person. Balance payable 30 days in advance. We accept Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, and credit card. 

Cancellation Policy: Full Refundable up to 15 days in advance.
