Open CentroAmericano

The best players in the region are invited to play the CentroAmateur. It is an 54 hole open tournament played at prestigious Cariari Country Club in San Jose, Costa Rica. 

 

Format

 

There are several competitions played:​

1. Individual Medal Play

2. Tournament of Nations - best two 54 hole scores taken by country. 

3. WAGR Challenge- best two WAGR player 54 hole scores by country to define WAGR Challenge champions. 

​

Cost

$280 includes green fees, prize ceremonies and trophies. 

Add on cart fee if you decide to use golf cart. $20 per player per day.

​

Lodging

Tournament players are encouraged to use Country Inn - just steps from the Country Club and lots of restaurants.
